Technical information: For the Equalizer to work on the electricity meter, the customer interface port needs to be enabled. If it is not enabled, the device will not be energized or able to transfer data. Contact your network operator to activate the customer interface port. Note that your local network operator does not necessarily have to be the same as your electricity operator. Activating the customer interface port can take up to several days depending on the network operator. Only the person who owns the electricity meter can activate/open the customer interface port. The owner of the electricity meter is the person listed as the recipient on the electricity bill.

Check your electricity meter or contact your electricity network operator to ensure that you have an activated HAN port (RJ45) or HAN port (RJ12), also known as P1/H1. This depends on which national standard you are using. Regardless of which port you have, we at EFUEL can help you.
