**Information about surface treatment:**

- Surface treated in three steps for optimal rust protection.
- Step 1: High-alloy zinc which provides good corrosion protection. Excellent protection under paint as it prevents paint peeling in case the posts are damaged.
- Step 2: Phosphating + ED coating. A rust-protection paint with very good corrosion protection, used as a primer before powder coating. Exceptional penetration ability in tight spaces, ensuring that the inside of the tube is also rust-protected.
- Step 3: Powder coating, done for visual reasons as well as additional wear protection.

The charging pole has been developed for easy mounting on a buried steel foundation (see separate article steel foundation for charging post).
